TELANGANA NEET UG COUNSELLING & ADMISSION 2024:-

Telangana UG Counselling Is Conducted By Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Science for Admission into Medical, Dental and BAMS Courses. 

A Candidate Must Fill Out An Online Application Form To Participate In The Telangana NEET UG Counselling By Visiting The Conducting Authority’s Official Website https://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/. The National Eligibility Cumulative Entrance Test Will Be Used For NEET Counseling. Only Those Who Have Qualified For NEET  Will Be Able To Participate In The Counselling Process.

Telangana NEET UG Counselling, On The Other Hand, Will Take Place Offline Kaloji Narayana Rao University of Health Science. The Telangana will Be Used For Admission To 85% State Quota Seats In MBBS And BDS Courses Offered By Institutes In This State.

Telangana NEET UG 2024 Counselling Registration:-

Step 1: Online Registration

• Visit The Official Website For Telangana NEET UG Counselling https://www.knruhs.telangana.gov.in/
• Click On The Registration Link.
• Fill In Your Details, Including:
  • Candidate’s Name
  • Gender
  • Nationality
  • Nativity
  • Aadhaar Number
  • Date Of Birth
  • Category
  • Disability Status
  • Educational Qualification
  • Email Id
  • Mobile Number
  • Communication Address
• Review The Information For Accuracy.
• Submit The Form.

Step 2: Upload Documents

• You’ll Be Prompted To Upload The Following Documents:
  • Recent Color Photograph With A White Background (15kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 200 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Signature On White Paper With Blue/Black Ink (4kb-100kb), Dimention of the photograf should be 150 pixel width and 100 pixels height in jpg/ jpeg formet.
  • Other Relevant Documents (E.G., Category Certificates, Qualification Certificates) As A Single PDF File (Size Not Exceeding 500 KB).
  • PDF format of Certificates The following certificates in PDF format should be kept ready and the same must be uploaded in the application portal. This is mandatory for all candidates.
  • Class X Certificate Candidate’s Class X (SSLC) Certificate is mandatory and to be uploaded in the online application.
  • Proof for Nativity Birth Certificate/SSLC Certificate/Passport showing the candidate’s place of birth. For details of other documents as Nativity Proof, see Prospectus Clause 6.1.1.
  • Proof for Date of Birth PDF format of date of birth proof must be uploaded in the application portal. 

Step 3: Preview Uploaded Images

• After Uploading, Preview The Uploaded Images.
• Ensure That Your Photograph And Signature Are Clearly Visible In The Appropriate Spaces.
• If The Images Are Not Satisfactory, You Can Re-Upload Them Following The Same Procedure.
• Confirm That The Spaces For Photograph And Signature Are Not Swapped.

Step 4: Declaration And Final Submission

• Review All Filled Information.
• If All Details Are Correct, Select The ‘Declaration’ Checkbox.
• Click On The Final SUBMIT Button.
• After Submission, An Application/Registration Number Will Be Generated.
• You Will Receive An Email And SMS With The Application Number And Password. Keep These For Future Reference.

Step 5: Application Fee Payment

• Click On The Provided Link For Fee Payment.
• Follow The Instructions To Complete The Payment.
• Payment Can Be Made Through Internet Banking, Debit Card, Or Credit Card.
• After Payment, Save The Payment Slip For Reference.
• Bank Charges/Payment Gateway Charges Are The Applicant’s Responsibility.
• Ensure Payment Is Made Within The Due Date.

1. The Counseling Authority Will Conduct The Seat Allotment Process Based On Your Choices And NEET UG Rank.
2. Check The Seat Allotment Result On The Official Website Using Your Login Credentials.
3. If You’re Satisfied With The Allotted Seat, You Have The Option To Accept It.
4. If Not, You Can Participate In Subsequent Rounds Of Counseling.

Step 5: Reporting To Allotted College

• If You Accept The Allotted Seat, You Must Report To The Respective College Within The Specified Timeframe.
• Pay The Required Admission Fees And Complete The Admission Formalities.

Step 6: Upgradation (Optional)

In Telangana total number of 4600 MBBS Seats available in all Medical Colleges, among these 1550 MBBS Seats available in Government Medical Colleges , 2500 MBBS Seats available in private Non-Minority Medical Colleges and 550 MBBS Seats available in Minority Medical Colleges. Among these 1550 MBBS Seats in Government medical Colleges, 232 MBBS Seats goes to Under All India Quota, 1318 MBBS Seats goes to under Convenor Quota. Among 3050 MBBS Seats in private Minority and Non-Minority Medical Colleges 1525 MBBS Seats goes to Under Convenor Qouta( Category-A), 1068 MBBS Seats goes to Under Management Quota(Category B) and 457 MBBS Seats goes to Under NRI Quota(Category-C). 🏥 Telangana NEET UG Medical Admission – Domicile & Eligibility Rules

To be eligible for 85% State Quota seats in Government and Private Medical/Dental Colleges in Telangana, NEET UG 2025 candidates must meet specific local/non-local criteria. Others may apply under the 15% unreserved quota or management quota.

⚠️ Important: Please refer to the official KNRUHS Information Bulletin and respective college brochures before applying.

✅ Eligibility for 85% Telangana State Quota Seats (Local Candidate)

A candidate qualifies as a local candidate under any of the following:
    1.    4-Year Rule (Study or Residence):
    •    The candidate has studied 4 consecutive academic years in an educational institution in Telangana immediately before the qualifying exam (Class 12/Intermediate).
OR
    •    The candidate has resided in the local area for 4 consecutive years immediately before the qualifying exam.
    2.    7-Year Study Rule (Fallback Criteria):
    •    The candidate has studied in Telangana for 7 consecutive academic years prior to the qualifying exam.
    •    If studied in more than one local area, eligibility is based on the area where the candidate studied the most.
    •    If equal time spent in more than one area, eligibility is based on the last studied area.
    3.    7-Year Residency Rule (No Study in Telangana):
    •    If the candidate did not study in Telangana but resided for 7 consecutive years, they will be considered local to that area.

🧾 Eligibility for 15% Unreserved Category (Open Quota within Telangana)

A candidate is eligible under the 15% unreserved (non-local) quota if:
    1.    Candidate has resided in Telangana for 10 years or more, excluding periods spent outside for studies.
    2.    Either parent has resided in Telangana for at least 10 years, excluding employment-related absences.
    3.    Parent or spouse is employed in:
    •    State or Central Government
    •    Public Sector Undertaking (PSU)
    •    Local authority
    •    Government-recognized educational institution in Telangana

🏛️ Eligibility for Management Quota Seats (Private Colleges)

These seats are open to all Indian candidates who have passed NEET UG with qualifying marks and meet subject criteria.
    1.    For Non-Telangana State Candidates:
    •    Must obtain a Certificate of Equivalence from the Board of Intermediate Education (BIE), Telangana and attach it during application.
    2.    For International / NRI / Foreign Candidates:
    •    Must submit a Certificate of Equivalence from both:
    •    Association of Indian Universities (AIU)
